Pledges
Pam Bonesteel is a mother, grandmother, and dreamer. Born and raised in Ohio, she has traveled throughout the United States, finally choosing her home state to settle down in. Pam has extensive experience in volunteer service and leadership, having fulfilled the position of President for the Psi Upsilon chapter, as well as the Regional Secretary for the Virginia Region of Phi Theta Kappa where she received the honor of three International Hallmark Awards for her personal contributions – only two other people have received three individual awards of this rank throughout the award’s history. Additionally, Pam received the Distinguish Chapter Office, Chapter President, and Regional Officer Awards. Tidewater Community College also extended it recognition by presenting Pam with the Woman’s Leadership Award. Pam’s volunteer activities range from the American Red Cross to Relay for Life to domestic violence shelters to city cleanup projects. Her Phi Theta Kappa partnership with Nicole Cunha ultimately resulted in friendship. Pam personally witnessed the impact of loss through Raven’s tragic passing and is greatly honored to unite her passion and experience with the work of RMBF.
